Thanks for testing the water. I must explain that the issue at hand isn’t just whether the new section works in the usual sense of looking all right and cooperating normally. It’s about whether I, using the screen reader Jaws, can figure out where the controls are, how to use them, and how to provide text in the edit field in a way that works instead of running off into the universe without line breaks and then refuses to post itself. Which is why I’m composing this response in Word. After I spell check the text, I’ll do a Select All (Ctrl A), copy to Clipboard (Control C), then zip around through my Task Bar (Alt Tab) until I come back to the input field and paste in my reply. As I said, it’s like stories about those World War II U. S. bomber pilots flying blind over Germany. But at least I don’t think I’m being hounded by Messerschmit fighter planes, zipping around my big fat craft like Somali pirates encircling a merchant ship and firing tracer rounds at me through the night sky. So. Let us see.
